EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
Harry joined SLSF in 1988, was named a partner in 1995, and was appointed to the SLSF management committee in 2000. Since beginning his career in public accounting in 1980, Harry’s experience has spanned a full range of accounting, tax, consulting and recruiting services. His practice focuses on providing tax and business advice to closely held businesses—often family-owned firms—and their owners, as well as non-profit organizations and individuals. He has worked with clients in the retail, manufacturing, distribution, construction and professional services arenas.
As partner in charge of human resources, Harry oversees staff recruitment, hiring and counseling. He gains great satisfaction from finding new firm members who make a difference for the firm and its clients while building successful professional and personal lives. Before coming to SLSF, Harry spent eight years with the Chicago-based firm of Friedman, Eisenstein, Raemer & Schwartz.

APPROACH
Harry is committed to looking beyond the numbers when working with clients, and is convinced that strong relationships are integral to client service. Known as a good listener and facilitator, Harry has a calm demeanor and disarming nature that are effective in helping people work together, resolve differences, and focus on solutions.

Harry and his wife Marcy live in Deerfield with their three children.
